On February 28, 2004, John Herbert McDougall Young passed away after a lengthy illness. John, along with Marion Achurch, Susanne Christmas, and others generously provided the information on this Christmas line. Even with his illness the past several years, John spent most of his energies trying connect the different family lines, and helping many fellow researchers, like me, in finding answers to our questions. He was passionate about his family research, and a very nice and generous man; he will be missed.
