Appears as Edward, age 10 in 1850 Census; as Junius(?) E., age 19 in the 1860 Census. I ASSUME this is same Edward, age 27, in 1870.1870 Census Kershaw Co., SC, Wateree Township, p. 276 list Edward, age 27; wife, Rebecca, and 3 children: Clara, Hannah & Emma. Note that one of his children is named after his mother.

[WHT: The following messages were from Nina M. Christmas, via email, May 19 & 20, 1999. Nina was looking for Thomas Nollie Christmas and came across this information on Edward.]
I had ordered a copy of a Social Security application for Thomas Christmas, thinking it was my husband's grandfather. It came today and as far as we know, there is no connection to our line. Hope it can help someone else.
Name of Applicant: Thomas Edward Christmas
Date of Birth: July 17, 1875
Place of Birth: Calvert Tx (Robertson Co)
Father's Full Name: Edward Junius Christmas
Mother's Maiden Name Rebecca Caroline More Sex:
Male: Color: White
SS # 449-01-9245The interesting thing about this is that this man was born on July 17, 1875. My husband's grandfather, Thomas Nollie Christmas was also born on July 17, 1875 in Bremond, Robertson County Texas. They're maybe 20 miles apart if that much. Coincidence - or another piece of the puzzle that we didn't know about?
[WHT: Her daughter, Hannah's death certificate shows her middle name to be Fair.]
