I have found several variants of the name of my great grandmother, including Elilius, Elilias, Lilly, Lillie, the transcription of the headstone for Walnut Cemetery reads Elilius, however, I have yet to verify that it is a correct reading. Hopefully I'll get to Unadilla someday to check it out.To answer your question, I think that the four generation depicted are (I'm sure of the first 2): My mother, the baby, Emma Lily Bembry (She was born in January 1910, so the photo is certainly that year); Grandmother, Annie Lee Pattishall; Great Grandmother, Elilius (r whatever it really was) Christmas; Great Great Grandmother, Jemima Bryan.
E. LILLIAN CHRISTMAS (Emma Lily Bembry's grandmother, see Maternal Ancestry) was born on 7 October 1869, in Georgia, USA, to Jeremiah Richard Jerry or JR Jr Christmas and Jemima Bryan, died (Burial in Walnut Cemetery, Unadilla, GA) on 5 December 1910, aged 41, in Georgia, USA. (Cemetery Record online reads "King, Elilious Pattishall, Born October 7, 1989; Died December 5, 1910" (E. married twice. She was married to Leonard Glen Pattishall and James A, III King.) (Original marrige reord for her and James King reads "E. Lillian Pattishall")
Leonard Glen Pattishall married E. Lillian Christmas. They had five children: Annie Lee Pattishall in 1890; Janie Ruth Pattishall in 1891; Leon Jackson Pattishall in 1893; Eula Clyde Pattishall in 1895; Leonard Glyn Pattishall in 1898
I am attaching 2 shots in the same jpg with me as the young mother and my oldest daughter as the baby. Olan Mills photo was in August 1977 - the other one probably 1978.

Dear Howard, in regards to a letter dated June 1, 1966, that you sent to my uncle, Mr. L. H. Spradley - Montesuma, Ga. No, Mr. Spradley is not related to John Elliott Christmas, but I am-- my father was Riley Gladston Christmas; my mother was Nicie Elizabeth Spradley. John Elliott was my father's brother. When and where my father was born, I cannot tell as my father died when I was two and my mother when I was seven. If you are really interested in doing a survey - you should scout around Atlanta, Unadilla, and Hawkinsville, GA. As Jeremiah was my father's father and I was told he was born and buried in that area as was his wife, Jermima. There are some Bembry's in Hawkinsville related to us as they were Christmas before marriage.
If you can locate Pearl Christmas, last know address was Dooly or Dooling, GA; she could help you more than I as she is the last living child of Jeremiah Christmas; her husband Oscar Stuckey passed away Dec. 12, 1965 - last year. Also there is a T. R. Christmas in Atlanta related to us; his father was Vasser Christmas. Mrs. Bean 1966 address was 5111 Deep Creek Blvd, # 7, Chesapeake, GA.
Howard Christmas' comment on letter; Pearl Christmas Stuckey was my father's youngest sister.

Herbert: My cousin, Marion Virginia, got in touch with me re: Christmas geneology web site. Thanks so much for the excellent work you have done to help our families tie our roots to our ancestors.
The following information I got from my father's bible. There are a few minor changes that need to be made to our family connections. My grandfather was Vasser Russell Christmas, he was born April 21, 1875 and died Dec. 29,1948. He had two sisters, Maybelle and Ethel, who died very young. The best I can remember from my grandfather telling me about them, they were around the ages of 18 mos and 3 yrs of age and they died within a few weeks of each other. They were younger than my grandfather. They are buried "In the old Christmas Family Cemetery in Dooly Co. Ga."(I have no idea where this is but if anyone out there does I would love hearing from you. My father died before he could show me where it was.)
Vasser's mother's name was Martha Virginia Potts. She married John William Christmas and he died in 1896. He is buried in Davis, OK ( what was then Indian territory.)
Vasser married Hattie Lee Mott in 1903 and they had three children. My father, Tigner Russell, born May,27,1906 died July27,1973. Carroll Eugene, born May 26, 1911, Quitmqn,Ga. died Nov. 13,1948. buried in Gainsville, Tx. John Wayland born Nov. 22,1915 and died 1975.
I have pictures of my great-grandparents and my grandparents. If this would be of any interest to you I will be happy to send you a copy.
