An interesting thing about Dad's family is that we have 3 family
Bibles:
1. An 1897 which I have (which lists him and MANY others before)
belonging to Robert Hilliard Wright - grandfather.
2. An 1845 belonging to Milton Fletcher Wright and Mary Nance
Shell - Great Grandparents
3. An 1813 leather bound with James / William Wright on the front.
. .GG and GGG Grandparents.
Both of these Bibles are in the hands of my First Cousin, Carolyn Wright Haynes (whose father lived in my Grandparents home for many years after my Grandparents' death. So naturally he just 'kept' the Bibles. My Dad was given the one he needed to prove his and his half-sister's age for SS benefits. MOST of the data I sent you about the James Wright / Lucy Shell(GGGgrandparents); William Wright / Mary (Polly) Tucker (GG Grandparents); Milton Fletcher Wright/Mary Nance Shell (GGrandparents; and Robert Hilliard Wright and Anna S. Childers came from those 3 Bibles.[WHT: Elsie Wright provided the family and descendant information in 2001.]

1900 Census, Blount Co., AL; 8 Precinct Campbell; Dwelling # 109 list Robert Wright, born July 1856 in GA, Father in SC & Mother in GA; wife, Annie, b. Feb 1869 in GA, as were her parents; married 13 years, had 4 children - all living & born in AL.

1900 Census, Coweta Co., GA; Turin District; Dwelling # 211; ED: 26, Sheet 13 list Thomas E. Shell, b. Oct. 1847 in GA; father in GA - mother in SC; wife, Nancy, b. April 1849 in GA; married 32 years; had 5 children - 5 living; children listed William, Jennie, Richard, Robert & Frances. [WHT: It appears the census taker made a mistake on the children or whoever gave the info did not understand the question.]

1900 Census, Coweta Co., GA; Turin District; Dwelling # 208; ED: 26, Sheet 13 list John Shell, born Aug. 1850 in GA; parents in SC; wife, Jimmie, b. Sept. 1854 in GA; parents in SC; married 21 years, had 6 children - 6 living; Florence E., b. Nov. 1879; Nancy L., b. July 1881; George W., b. Sept. 1883; Mary T., b. Dec. 1885; Emma R., b. Sept. 1886 & Thomas E., b. Jan. 1888; all born in GA.
