He was a devoted husband, father, son, papa, minister and friend. Although he struggled many times with sickness, he never complained, but put his hope only in God and quoted Job saying, "Though he slay me, yet will I hope in him."
He was a recording artist, a certified scuba diver and spent over thirty years in ministry including positions of: Senior pastor, youth pastor, Victory Valley Church Camp, Teen Challenge, and Saturday morning Sunday School.
He is survived by his wife, Kathie Christmas; three children, Julie Woodward (Kris), Pam Young (Steve) and Joshua Christmas (Shirley); his parents Marion and Mary Christmas; and his grandchildren, Alexandria, Noah, Lukas and Samuel Woodward, Joanna Christmas, Lydia and Taylor Cook and baby Young arriving in July. He was preceded in death by his sister, Marcia A. Christmas. He was loved by many and will be missed by all.
Visitation will be held on today, March 15, 2010, from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Koehler Funeral Home Boonville Chapel. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 16, 2010, at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, corner of 4th and Walnut Street in Boonville, Ind., with visitation from 9 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the church. Burial in Little Pigeon Cemetery near Lamar, Ind.

POSEYVILLE, Ind. - Ellen Lorene (Davis) Christmas, 98, died Monday at Metter Nursing Home in Metter, Ga. She was a homemaker and a member of the Christian Church in Poseville, and was formerly a member of the Old Union Homemaker's Club and the Christian Womens' Fellowship.
Surviving are a son, Charles Lee Christmas of Statesboro, Ga.; three granddaughters, Deborah of St. Marys, Ga., Barbara Eaton of Duluth, Ga., and Louise Quattlebaum of Statesboro; a grandson, Charles M. of Norcross, Ga.; and 10 great-grandchildren. Her husband, Charles L., died in 1971.

E. William Pfeffer, 82, of Indian Rocks Beach, Florida, formerly of Evansville, died on Tuesday, November 9, 2004, at Mease Continuing Care in Dunedin, Florida.
Bill served in the United States Navy during World War II from 1942 to 1946. He was stationed in the Philippines and later attended Evansville College and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting. He became bookkeeper, office manager, and eventually president of a gas utility and storage company in Southern Illinois. He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ and the Roosevelt Class until he moved to Florida. He was a former member of the Evansville Country Club, Evansville Kennel Club and Evansville Petroleum Club.
Bill is survived by his wife of 56 years, Charlene; daughters, Barbara Baker and her husband, Bob of Franklin, Indiana, Karen Mezer and her husband, Steve of Oldsmar, Florida, and Jan Budenz and her husband, Larry of Overland Park, Kansas; three grandsons; three granddaughters, and one great-granddaughter.
Services 1 p.m. Saturday, November 27, at Ziemer Funeral Home North Chapel, 6300 First Avenue, with the Reverend Father Stephen P. Lintzenich officiating. Entombment will be in St. Joseph Mausoleum. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, November 26, at the funeral home.
