Ivan Ray Christmas, 73, of Evansville, died Monday, December 18, 2006, at VNA Charlier Hospice Center.
Ivan was of the Protestant faith and former member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Darmstadt, Ind.
He worked at International Harvester, Vandeveer Incorp., Burrough's Corp., and then was the owner of Tri-State Systems (a TAB Products Company) for 33 plus years, specializing in records management.
Ivan had been a past sergeant in the National Guard. He was a member of Eagle Valley Men's Club, Clear Crest Pines Men's Club, American Legion Eugene Pate Post, and the Kennel Club. Ivan enjoyed working, playing golf, traveling, and spending time with family, especially his grandchildren. In his early years, Ivan enjoyed hunting.
Ivan was preceded in death by his wife of 20 years, Karen Christmas, in 2001, and his parents, Arvel Ivan and Anna Marie (Lutz) Christmas. He is survived by his daughter, Cathy Butler and husband, Rhett of Parker, Colo.; daughter, Shelley Wargel and husband, Bob of Evansville; stepson, Robby Elikofer and wife, Sheryl of Evansville; stepdaughter, Kim Reason and husband, Ray of Evansville; grandsons, Heath and Garrett Butler of Parker, Colo., Jason Elikofer and fiancée, Amanda Osbourne, Justin Elikofer, and Brandon Bergner; granddaughters, Ashley and Chelsea Wargel of Evansville, and Makenzie Livingston; and a devoted cousin, Nancy Decker.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, December 22, 2006, at Alexander North Chapel, officiated by Leroy Dilger, Hospice Chaplain, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday from 10 a.m. to service time at Alexander North Chapel.

It is with great sorrow we, as a family, share the death of M. Alice (Allie) Meinert on May 21, 2009, at her home on Sciota Court, Newburgh, Ind.

Known to many as Allie, she was the widow of R.W. "Bill" Meinert. She was a very thoughtful and giving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. We are so thankful to have known and loved her and fortunate that God let our paths cross in this life.

She was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star.

Allie is survived by her children, Russ (Lin) Meinert of Dallas, Texas, and Cheryl Meinert Hill of Moyock, N.C.; her grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Other survivors include her sisters, Mrs. Beulah (Prentice) West, Mrs. Opal (Hershel) Soloman and Mrs. Doris (Bob) Davis of Clarksville, Ind.; brother-in-law Ray (Betty) Meinert; and sister-in-law, Mrs. Lovee (Ike) McGlothin; and her nieces and nephews.

Allie was preceded in death by her husband, Bill; her parents, Walter and Mattie Grimm; her infant granddaughter, Shelly Ann Meinert; her sister, Mrs. Marie (Ralph) Christmas; and brother, Ralph Grimm.

Funeral Service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 26, 2009, at Koehler Funeral Home Boonville Chapel with burial in Mount Olive Cemetery in rural Lynnville, Ind.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. until service time Tuesday at Koehler Funeral Home Boonville Chapel.

Longtime family friend the Rev. Terry Flowers will be officiating.

Ind There was one brother Beeler Otis, Lora S, Gladys Marie and Alice G. Willard was born Oct 17,1867 in Warrick Co In and Minnie House was born on Apr 29,1891 In Warrick Co, In. That is all that I found out so far . My grandmother married a Joel Bacon and they eventually moved to Wi and that is the last that we know of any relative my grandmother died in South Milwaukee. Plus they also had 4 children my mother Gladys, Joann, Richard and Robert Bacon Thank you Debbie
