He married Margaret Jackson born May 1860, died 1900 buried in Salem Cem.,Watson La, with her sister Sarah Frances Jackson and Alexander Kelley. Sisters married brothers. Benjamine & Margaret had 5 children: #1 Allen born 1887 #2 Frank born 1889 #3 Ella born 1892 #4 O.V. born 1895 #5 Gertrude Born 1899 I am researching thier spouses and children now. [WHT: Descendant information on family received from Margie L. Kelly in 2001 & 2004.]
I also think Polly was born late 1820s or 1830. J.W. was listed as 42. I have Mac Kelley and Sallie in 1900 census. Sallie ( Sarah Frances Jackson )age 32 and Max 40. The children listed are James 12, Mary 11, Maggie 9 Bennie(Bejamine Alexander, My Husband's Father), Odie 4, Viola I/24 I believe that should be 1/12 ? In 1910 census Sallie is head of house age 36, James 22, Benjamine 16, Oda (odie) 12, Viola 9, Callie 5. Benjamine & Odie married sisters .Dacia & Arcie Lacoste. None of the above are living. Benjamine died 1959, and his wife Dacia died 1996 age 99. Any Question Just ask. Margie.

New Orleans, LA Directories, 1890-1891 has a Lee W. Christmas, engineer, living at 471 1/2 Poydras in 1890.A passport application, dated June 17, 1920, for Ed R. Christmas, stating he was born on Aug. 31, 1892 in New Orleans, LA, and his father was Lee Christmas. The passport was to visit Central America countries, where his father had lived. [WHT: He is a child of an earlier marriage to Mary Reid.]
Several passenger records show Lee Christmas sailing to/from New Orleans, LA to Guatemiala, Belize, Honduras & other Central America countries. These records shows the name & birth dates of his wife, Ida & children: Lee, Winfield Scott, Mary & Dominick Lee.
[WHT: I assume Ida is Lee's wife, as they live at the same address, 3504 Magazine St., New Orleans, LA, and she is referred to as mother in at least one record. However, she appears to be too young to be mother of Lee & Winfield.]

[WHT: Comments & information from Ray Anderson:]Millies date of death in the Death index for the state of Texas is 11-1-1936.
On the 1900 Census Van Zandt Co. Pct. 3 Millie claims to have been born Jan 1862 which fits the 1860 Census, while living with her parents, much closer. I think she was born in 1862 instead of 1863.
I can't find "WA" in the 1880 Census in Van Zandt Co., TX. He could have still been in Alabama or elsewhere.
1900 Census Van Zandt Co. TX. Family was living there. Truett hadn't been born yet. They lived at Willis Point, Van Zandt Co. TX pct 3. His occupation of Preacher wasn't listed. No other occupation was listed as well.
